Scapegoat in Recovery is a reflective, trauma-aware writing project exploring family systems, scapegoating roles and the long arc of healing that follows early emotional misattunement.
The work is written by me, a human, under my pen name “Phx Blu,” and draws on lived experience, decades of professional somatic and relational work and a deep commitment to truth without blame.
The project is developed through an ongoing dialogic process that includes the use of advanced AI-based reflective tools. These tools are used to help identify patterns, clarify language, test emotional safety and support the careful framing of archetypal material. They function as a collaborative “thinking partner”—assisting with structure, synthesis and refinement—while all lived content, discernment and final editorial decisions remain led by me.
This work does not aim to direct the reader toward specific conclusions or actions. Its role is closer to that of a lantern—offering enough light for patterns, dynamics and lived realities to become visible, without determining what the reader should do with what they see.
